On February 4, 2015, University of Chicago Sociology Professor Terry Clark & Theaster Gates and his Place Lab team gave a brief overview of their respective work and introduced to students the flow of Theaster's work in specific communities, what he considers during the work, and how his practice parallels the work of Professor Clark's decades-long development of Scenes.
