The Edward Bok Vocational High School was a functioning vocational high school in South Philadelphia from 1938 until 2013. This school was one of 20 schools closed by the School District of Philadelphia and sold through an auction process in 2014. The building occupies an entire city block in a residential South Philadelphia community. Its large physical presence carries significant emotional, physical and social weight.
