Ethical Redevelopment
Salon Membership Application

Instructions about projects: Salon members should currently be engaged in work that impacts public life, public space, and the built environment. It does not matter how you assemble publics, just as long as your intervention connects people to place and prosperity (however you define it).

The Salon Sessions will be enriched by members who can demonstrate how they retain and attract talent, expand economic opportunity and integration, create cultures of robust civic engagement, build on legacy and history, and create new possibilities without displacement. Your work can be at building-, block-, neighborhood-, or city-scale. Your project can take on many forms—it can be a capital project, a program series, a neighborhood residency program, etc. It should not be an intervention that has a single occurrence.

Questions regarding submission should be sent to Naomi Miller at

Applicants will be notified via email on May 16, 2016.
